This week we spoke with Finishing Move Inc. who is Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White, two friends and collaborators who recently worked on some incredible video game music projects including Halo: Master Chief Collection for Microsoft, Massive Chalice for Double Fine games, Borderlands 1 and 2, and the Assassin Creed series.
We talk about the incredible success they have had since forming their company just over two years ago and how they continue to navigate the task of managing large budget video game scores and forming their own opinions and choices about their musical compositions.

Brian Trifon is a Finishing Move Partner and Principal Composer. A master of melody and samurai of sound design, some say he’s never even heard the word preset. When Brian isn’t glitching out on a new Trifonic cut, you’ll find him dreaming about 9-string guitars while enjoying guacamole and decaf coffee.
BRIAN LEE WHITE:
Brian Lee White is a Finishing Move Partner and Principal Composer. Resident songsmith and mix wizard, at any given moment there is a 50% chance he’s thinking about the tone of a snare drum sample. When he’s not herding cats around the studio, Brian enjoys trolling the gear forums and pulling the perfect shot of espresso.
