World War II action movies, with U-boats and destroyers and storms on the high seas, have proven a rich backdrop for sound design over the years. In late July, Apple TV+ released Greyhound, starring Tom Hanks, and the production enlisted the talents of Oscar and CAS Award-winning re-recording mixer Michael Minkler as supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer, Here, Minkler sits down for an interview with Mix Editor Tom Kenny.
